Daisy Cloche Hat Pattern

Materials: 50g of DK yarn, scraps of white & yellow DC yarn for the daisy.

4.5mm hook or US 7, darning needle.

Stitches used:

UK – Single crochet, double single crochet (inc.), sc 2tog – sc 2 together (dec.)

Notes

Pattern - Cloche

ch 3, join with sl st to form a circle.

Row 1 – ch 1(counts as first sc), sc into the ring x 9, sl st

Row 2 – ch 1, dbsc into each st, sl st (19sts)

Row 3 – ch 1, dbsc into each st, sl st (39sts)

Row 4 – ch1, *x1 sc, x1 dbsc,* rep to end

Row 5 – ch 1, dbsc into each st, sl st (79sts)

Row 6 to 9 – ch 1, sc into each stitch, sl st (79sts)

Row 10 – Ch 1, *sc x 7, sc 2tog,* rep to end, sl st

Row 11 – rep row 10

Row 12 – ch 1, *sc x 6, sc 2tog,* rep to end, sl st

Row 13 & 14 – ch, sc to end, sl st

Row 15 – ch 1, *sc x5, sc 2tog* rep to end, sl st

Row 16 to 28 – ch 1, sc into each st

Row 29 – ch 1 - *sc x 3, dbsc x 1,* rep to end, sl st

Row 30 – ch1, sc to end, sl st

Row 31 – ch 1, *sc x 3, dbsc x1,* rep to end sl st

Row 32 - ch1, sc to end, sl st

Row 33 - ch 1, *sc x 3, dbsc x1,* rep to end sl st

Row 24 - ch1, sc to end, sl st, break off yarn leaving enough of a tail to darn in.

Pattern Daisy

Using yellow ch 3, join with sl st to form circle

Row 1 – ch1, sc x9, sl st

Row 2 – ch 1, dbsc into each st, sl st

Row 3- Join white yarn and bind off the yellow, join with x 1 sc, *ch 16 and sc into next st* rep to end and you have formed 12 petals.

Bind off and sew in all ends. Decide where you wish to position your daisy and attached with appropriate yarn.
