beautiful lace!
Thank you Sarah
Very cute trim, but the US version requires a little translation.
On this side of the pond we also cast on & bind off, although some will cast off. Yarn over (yo) is the equivalent of your yf/yarn forward to make an additional stitch that will produce an eyelet opening when subsequently knit. The slipped stitched can be either with the yarn in back (normal knit position) or with yarn in front - wyif.
Also, there seems to be a problem with the stitch counts - K2 yo K2 (row 2) will give you 5 stitches on the needle, resulting in a row 4 of K3 yo k2 (6 stitches).
This is a fun, easy pattern. Thank you! Also thank you to OPKnitter for your translation, it helped me greatly: while I am pretty good at knitting with US terms, I really had no idea what was being said a few times. Thanks.
I am using this pattern to make a few baby headbands.
