Sunroom Easiest Ever Crochet Edging

This really is the easiest ever crochet edging which can be applied to any work or garment and comes up really nice.


This pattern works on any multiples of 1, odd or even.
With the appropriate hook for the yarn used simple *dc, sl st, dc, sl st*, repeat as often as required to edge your item or garment.

I just used this to finish my lap-ghan and what a nice edging!! This is so easy and so different from the regular borders/ edgings...what a nice change!!! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks so much for posting this! It was fast and easy. I used it to finish off a baby blanket that had a mesh stich edging. That edge combined with yours made it look like tiny rose buds on a stem. Thanks again!

do you chain 2 when you begin, since the first stitch is a DC?

Is it 1 stitch per chain?

I chain 2 and in other pieces I chain 3

I'm trying this on an afghan and I'm not getting that twisted look. Am I not getting it right or did I miss something? lol Is this done on the blanket or like an icord?

I love this edging - just used it on some dishcloths. Another question - What is the stitch used on the afghan on your homepage? It looks familiar, but I don't know how to search this kind of thing.
