Sunshine Smiley Cotton Baby Bib

Materials: 5mm crochet hook, small amount of yellow cotton dk & small amount of black cotton dk, tapestry needle.
Measurements: 6.5” approx, ties 10” approx. each tie.
Pattern:
Ch 4 join with sl st
Rnd 1: ch 2, work 11 dc into loop, join with sl st.
Rnd 2:ch 2 work 1 dc into first st, work 2 dc into each st to end and join with sl st.
Rnd 3: ch 2, *work 1 dc into next 2 sts, work 2 dc into next st*, ** rep to end, join with sl st.
Rnd 4: ch 2, *work 1 dc into next 3 sts, work 2 dc into next st*, ** rep to end, join with sl st.
Rnd 5: ch 2, *work 1 dc into next 4 sts, work 2 dc into next st*, ** rep to end, join with sl st.
Rnd 6: ch 2, *work 1 dc into next 5 sts, work 2 dc into next st*, ** rep to end, join with sl st.
Next ch 35, turn and sc into 2nd ch from hook, sc all back down the ch and rejoin the circle with an sc, work 6 more sc into each st and then ch 35 again.
Turn and sc into 2nd ch from hook, sc all back down the ch and rejoin the circle with an sc ( both ties now complete.)
Final Rnd: *work 6 sc in next 6 sts, work 2 sc in next st*, ** rep to you are back at the first tie, join with a sl st and fasten off.
To finish:
Embroider, sew or crochet lips and eyes on. Darn all ends in.
