Granny Square Rag Rug Pattern

206-0682_IMG
I recently came up with the idea or notion of producing a granny square rag rug it’s something I haven’t seen anywhere else and naturally wondered why. I wasn’t sure it would work due to the nature of rag rugs but I’ve done it and I love it.
It’s shabby, it’s chic, it’s vintage, it’s retro, it’s folksy, it’s granny and it’s crochet. What more could we want?

So if you fancy having a go at making one you can get the pattern on Etsy or Ravelry.

That sounds complicated...so you have to use a different color each row and then you not only crochet with the rags, but also with yarn and all those color changes....my nerves could not handle that - but it looks fantastic!
