Million Stitches Blanket Afghan Crochet Tutorial How To Pattern

Million Stitches Crochet blanket 

The tutorial is rally a how to make this blanket, once the foundation rows are set the blanket is worked continuously and can be made to any size that you wish so 30" x 30" or 60" 60"

I have made the blanket twice using all 4 ply and sock yarn but the pattern would work with sport, dk, aran eights with the appropriate crochet hook. By using sock yarn the drape of the blanket is wonderful.

This is the ultimate 'scrappy project' for crocheters and is also a fabulous stash buster. I will be offering assorted colours of sock yarn in 10g amounts in packs of 10, 20 & 50 (100g, 200g & 500g)

This blanket is suitable for beginners, intermediate and advanced crocheters alike.

Hand Dyed Merino Singles Superwash Wool - 'Wild Card #2' Fearless Yarn

Here is my second Wild Card wool hand dyed on merino single pure wool base. My Wild Card is made by using all leftover dye stocks at the end of the week. I'm really happy with this yarn and think i would be great incorporated into a weaving or some other form of fibre art. It would also make stunning granny squares.

Million Stitches Large Crochet Granny Square Pure Wool Blanket Afghan

Here is a truly unique OOAK crochet afghan blanket. I made this using indie dyed yarns and it is made from lots of different colours of 4 ply sock weight yarn. Because the yarn is so fine and the crochet stitch so small it has superb drape. Although lightweight it is really warm and cosy due to the use of wool. I have called this blanket million stitches - because it has 1000's and 1000's of stitches.

It really is a work of art and truly delightful. This blanket will e loved and cherished by whoever the lucky recipient is.

2019 Update

I just remembered I haven't posted here in a while. I've been busy working on these projects as shown and have fallen in love with dyeing yarn. I'm onto another stage in my creative journey and loving it.

Sage Retro GRANNY SQUARES Crochet Afghan BLANKET

A fabulously nostalgic and traditional granny square blanket. Made in a variety of gorgeous colours in acrylic yarns. The blanket measures 65" x 65" and is handmade not manufactured many, many hours of work go into a blanket like this. The completed blanket will be crocheted together as I go so there will be no textured top seam.

This blanket is sure to be a treasure to it's new owner and has a timeless feel that makes it heirloom quality. Perfect as a gift. Made using good quality Aran acrylic yarn and is machine washable, dry flat or tumble dry on a low heat.
