I made a shawl from the same yarn. I didn't skip any coccons, but I made sc in every fine part. I made 7 parts with lenght from 110 sm, then I made a twist and the endings I knit around. You can see it here http://cvetoviiprikazni.blogspot.com/2011/10/blog-post_25.html
